Kids share the care

Last week the college participated in a Valentine’s Day-themed free dress day, which required all students to dress in red, pink or white.
A donation of a non-perishable item was needed for the student to participate on the day.
This is the fifth time the college has donated to the 4Cs charity in the past year, with the school aiming to hold a free dress day four times a year.
“I think it’s fabulous,” VCE and senior school co-ordinator Loreta Cannon said. “Especially if we’re donating to a not-for-profit organisation like 4Cs. That’s why we do it – to support local charities”.
This year the college has introduced two new community service captains, who will form a connection between Lakeside Lutheran College and the greater community.
In the past the college has helped raise money and donations for St Vinnies, Jeans for Genes Day, Jump Rope for Heart, Pink Ribbon and Legacy.
