Tooradin defeated Cranbourne Meadows by 232 runs in an uneven contest.
Tooradin scored 9/254 from 80 overs.
A key partnership of 150 runs came from Michael Ralph (88) and Sam Clarke (56) to see the Seagulls in a strong position.
Other useful contributions came from Matt Walker (22) and Sean Baker (21).
In reply Tooradin’s attack, led by quick Ricky Holland could only be described as awesome, taking 8/15 including a hat-trick.
Matt Finch provided good support to take 2/15 also from 10 overs.
Holland’s accuracy and pace was too much for the Rebels.

Tooradin played Devon Meadows in a replay of the last round match.
Devon Meadows won the toss and batted and had a solid 20-run partnership before Dale Bethune took the first wicket.
Brother Greg Bethune then dismissed the dangerous Arthur Churchill to have the Meadows 2/34.
Seagull bowlers Peter O’Hare, Darren Mantel and the Bethune brothers kept the pressure on and eventually were dismissed for 114 in the 62nd over.
Tooradin was 0/8 overnight when Peter Stone and Brett Murray continued their excellent score as the Seagulls ended at 0/116 to have a convincing win in the semi-final.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:E GRADE

Tooradin was narrowly beaten in the semi-final by seven runs against Upper Pakenham-Toomuc (PUT).
PUT won the toss and batted against the Seagulls’ good attack.
Daniel Quinn and James Thompson both bowled good opening spells.
They were well assisted by Ross Simpson and Leigh Fankhauser.
Wickets continued to fall regularly and the Seagulls dismissed PUT for 106 in the 58th over.
Simpson took the amazing figures of 3/23 (18 overs), Fankhauser took 3/36 (19 overs), Thompson 1/16 and Quinn 2/24 in another consistent spell.
Chasing a small total can sometimes be difficult and the Seagulls lost 2/20 from the nine overs at the end of day one.
Tooradin lost another wicket to be 3/24 and failed to get a solid partnership started.
Shane Somers played a great captain’s innings to make 27.
At 9/78 the Seagulls still managed to keep the game alive with the best partnership of the innings between Vin Bornino (10) and James Thompson 9 not-out.
Bornino was well caught and the Seagulls’ innings finished on 99.
