PAKENHAM Regional Tennis Centre is in full swing with various tennis programs on offer.
The new 18 tennis court facility, located on Webster Way in Pakenham, has programs for young and old and is taking registrations for its first school holiday program.
Melony Grand–Court, Programs and Administration officer at the centre is pleased with the amount of interest from the community about the facility and its programs.
“The official opening day showed us how popular tennis is in Cardinia Shire; we’ve had a lot of inquiries and registrations already,” Ms Grand – Court said.
“The centre will have its first tournament which will be a junior round robin for all ages on Friday 9 April.”
Mums can get involved too with the ‘Mums in Tennis’ program which is ideal for beginners or mothers who have played before and want to play socially. The program is a five-week subsidised program and costs $15.
