CONSTRUCTION began this
week on a new eight-unit senior citi
zens development in Pakenham.
The units, on the corner of Ahern
Road and the Princes Highway, are
being built by Hotondo Waltara on
behalf of Pakenham Aged Care.
Director of Nursing Linda Austen
said the facility, named ‘Millrise’ would
offer quality independent living.
“They are suitable for family and
friends of residents of Pakenham
Aged Care and the Pakenham commu
nity in general,” she said.
The two-bedroom units will be
available early 2011.
