The Pakenham Upper business caters for the retail sector as well as wholesale orders.
Owned by Alison Berson, with many years of experience under her belt in animal handling and welfare, the business has been commissioned to remake ceremonial bridles and breastplates for the New South Wales mounted police as well as displaying her work at various agricultural shows.
Two major veterinary wholesalers have also placed numerous orders for her dog muzzles and Ms Berson has also been instrumental in preventing horrendous injuries within the dog hunting scene.
The quality of work is of the highest standard, all items handcrafted using top grade leather and quality lorinery (metal fittings such as buckles).
Animal Leather Accessories caters for a variety of clients including saddlery shops, produce stores, dog groomers, veterinary surgeons, veterinary wholesalers, pony clubs, dog clubs, local councils and of course the individual consumer.
The business has continued to expand and explore new markets by offering quality good and services.
Alison recently had the honor of becoming a member of the Saddlers and Harness Makers Association of Australia. This is a significant achievement, as the association welcomes only highly qualified and experienced craftspeople.
All this is why the business has been named as a finalist in the manufacturing category.
