Regan breaks it open

BEACONSFIELD A-grade netballer Regan Brokenshire led the way, shooting 95 per cent for the game and making it look easy, in the club’s win over Hampton Park on the weekend.
At the other end of the court, Sarah Hogan was sensational in defence, making it very hard for the Park goalers to get access to the ring.

Well done girls, there has been a noticeable change in our commitment to the ball and we need to keep improving this aspect of our game to be more successful. Some strong play by the goalers and some improvement in accuracy. Explosive interceptions by our defenders – well done Jen, Sam, Amy and Erin. Our youngest member Danni teamed well with our attackers to improve court flow. Thanks to Abbey and Naomi for helping out in the last quarter. A great result.

Beaconsfield went into the game not knowing what to expect from Hampton Park.
The girls put in a 100 per cent effort from start to finish – and this showed in the scoreline. The defence end with Jo Jo and Caity worked well, breaking the centre passes and rebounding every opportunity. Claire and Shelley worked hard to bring the ball down to goalers Debby, Rach and Carly, who rotated throughout the game. Alex aimed to keep the momentum going through the game and the team retained their intensity. Well done girls, let’s hope Ellie’s back is okay. Best on court Alex O’Sullivan.
