No jail here

THE STATE Government has dispelled rumours that a jail will be built in Pakenham.
The Gazette contacted the Labor Government following a number of queries from residents who had heard the news on the grapevine.
A number of residents posted their concern on the Gazette’s facebook page saying they would not support a jail in town.
Paula Scanlon said she would be the first to organise a protest and had many others saying they would join it if necessary.
