CARDINIA Shire Council awarded various community groups, sporting clubs, and organisations Community Capital Works grants during their grants night on Thursday 22 July.
About $300,000 was shared among 41 community organisations this year.
Mayor Graeme Legge said the grants program gave the council an opportunity to show their appreciation for the hard work put in by volunteers across the shire.
“Council encourages all community groups to consider projects that can be achieved through this community grant process,” Cr Legge said.
“Congratulations to all the successful applications and best of luck with their projects.”
