It’s all business

THE City of Casey is hosting a range of events as part of its first Casey Business Week, which runs from 16 to 20 August.
Casey Mayor Lorraine Wreford said small business was the bedrock of Casey’s business community and that with the wide range of seminars and networking events on offer, Casey Business Week was the perfect opportunity for Casey’s small business owners to learn valuable new skills and share information.
“The City of Casey has created a program specifically tailored to the needs of small business,” she said.
City of Casey economic development manager David Wilkinson said the program had been carefully planned to ensure there was something for everyone.
“There are seminars on how to influence buyers and accelerate business growth, network more effectively, grow your online presence through optimisation and social media, and succession planning,” Mr Wilkinson said.
The winners of the inaugural Casey Business Awards will be announced on 27 August.
