Mentors for breakfast

THE City of Casey is looking for mentors to take part in the eighth annual Men’s Mentor Breakfast in August.
Men from a wide variety of careers and professions are needed to mentor Year 11 male students at the breakfast on Friday 20 August.
The Men’s Mentor Breakfast provides an opportunity for young people to talk with a male role model from outside their ‘normal’ circle of contacts, providing them with a different perspective on education and career options.
This year’s inspiring guest speaker will be Glenn Manton, an AFL footballer who spent 12 years playing for Essendon and Carlton.
Glenn is also the author of two books and has produced a film documentary on the life of Peter Brock.
He has co-founded Whitelion, a charity which works with young people in the juvenile justice system, and Red Dust Role Models, an organisation working with indigenous communities. For mentor registration forms visit www.insideinfo.casey.vic.gov.au
