All up and running

A FULL muster of members enjoyed a good meeting at Berwick Senior Citizens recently.
There was no report of anyone being sick. The club was pleased to see Mary Barford again after her recent eye surgery, and also Ella Matheson.
President Isabella Price said she had no news of further progress on the meals front, but was confident progress was being made. It will be good to have the meals on offer again, especially as this is one of the two main objects of the club in its constitution.
At the meeting, the door prizes went to Isabel Jager-Glover and Isabella Price. The meat tray was won by Norma Fournier, while the voucher went to Audrey Appleyard. Lorna Bird and Alice Haynes were the winners of the raffle.
After the meeting concluded, all the members settled down to bingo. The winners were Barbara Cunningham (twice), Aileen Sweet (twice), Alice Haynes, Hilda Boening, Lorna Bird, Ian Wollerman, Sheila Carter, and there was a four-way tie between Elizabeth Sturgeon, Audrey Appleyard, Ron Giles and Lorna Bird.
