A top night of awards, farewells

KOOWEERUP Secondary College Year 12 staff, family and friends gathered at Cardinia Cultural Centre on Thursday 18 November to mark the end of another successful year.
A record crowd of 450 attended to see the ‘Class of 2010′ presented, watch a DVD of the year, acknowledge the participation of students in sport, performing arts and other activities at the college.
Honour students were presented with a certificate and gifts and a variety of awards were presented.
The highlight of the evening was the inclusion of the Caroline Chisholm Education Foundation award of $2000. It was presented to Matthew Kotuziak by Roy Smalley.
The college also thanked organisations who contributed to awards for students.
The night was completed with dancing and reminiscing as this was the students’ last opportunity to be all together.
