Tea’s a tonic

Emily-Rose Pumfrey created a herbal tea business, SlimBliss. 95400

LOCAL health enthusiast, Emily-Rose Pumfrey is changing lives one teacup at a time with her new business.
She is studying naturopathy at Endeavour College of Natural Health but couldn’t wait to finish her degree to develop a herbal tea for improving health.
“With a passion for herbal medicine and digestive health, SlimBliss was created,” she said.
“Despite having another year until I completed my degree I was eager to start sharing my knowledge and helping others. I have personally experienced the life-changing effects of herbal medicine with my own digestive issues.”
Emily’s SlimBliss tea contains eight ingredients to improve digestion, reduce indigestion, regulating blood sugar levels, balancing appetite and gently detox the body’s elimination organs.
Weight loss can also be an added bonus, she said. The tea was developed only four months ago.
“The last four months have been an incredible whirlwind,” she said.
“What started out as a hobby is now a full-time job. Getting to turn my passion into reality is a huge personal achievement.”
Emily’s marketing is mainly through social media and she has a huge following on Facebook and Instagram.“The growth and response has completely blown all my expectations,” she said.
“In just four months, we have over 17,000 followers and three stockists.”
Emily hopes to continue growing the reach of SlimBliss and will soon launch an interactive website and a new product.
“I would love for SlimBliss to become more than just a product, but a lifestyle empowering customers to take charge of their digestive health,” she said.
SlimBliss is available from Beaconsfield Natural Medicine or online.
