A HUMBLE one-day exhibition nine years ago thrived into a three-day quilt and craft show.
The annual Bunyip Quilt and Craft Show features some of the quilts and craftwork in the district.
Show organiser Barbara Dickinson said that 2013 would include a large number of quilt entries as well as a monster garage sale on Saturday.
The Warragul Woodworkers will be demonstrating the art of wood turning in the recently opened Bunyip Men’s Shed as well as selling items of their work. There will be a Vintage Car display on Sunday and the beautiful new Hillview Independent Living Units will be available for inspection over the three days.
The show has plenty of local support including the Bunyip Bendigo Bank and Sue’s Stitches of Lang Lang.
There will be a raffle of beautiful quilts to be won and Devonshire Tea and a barbecue will be available.
Bunyip Quilt and Craft Show will be held between 9.30am to 3pm on Friday 23 August to Sunday 25 August at Hillview Hostel at 22 A’Beckett Road, Bunyip.
