CHANGE is the theme of Living Learning Pakenham’s third art prize exhibition.
The theme acknowledges the change throughout the community as a result of population growth.
Living Learning CEO Tammy Lobato is pleased that this year’s exhibition is as popular as last year’s event with some impressive submissions.
“The art on display is of the highest quality and much of it is produced by art students studying here under the guidance of Janine Good,” she said.
“There is a range of mediums including some unique embroidered pieces of art.
“I share the pride of the artists when their much loved work is publicly displayed for the enjoyment of all and enjoy the beautifully inspiring feeling the art creates throughout the centre.”
Ms Lobato said this year’s event was made possible through the support of Cardinia Shire Council.
The exhibition continues until 6 December with a gala evening on Friday 29 November from 5.30pm to 7.30pm when judging of the work will take place.
Ms Lobato is one of the judges joining Janine Good in the difficult task of selecting the most outstanding contributions.
