DESPITE a hot week in the lead-up to the Lang Lang Show, Saturday was a great day with few complaints and a cool breeze.
Secretary of the show committee Cheryl Berry said the weather was kind but the heatwave made preparations difficult.
“I have received a bit of feedback that it was a good show, people enjoyed it,” she said.
“There seemed to be quite a lot of locals supporting us, familiar faces that don’t always come to the show.
“It was great to have their support.”
Ms Berry said there was a “good vibe” on the day and she joked that there were no complaints which was a good indication of how well the show was received.
She thanked the committee and supporters for another great show.
“Thank you to the sponsors and to the local traders, and the people of Lang Lang,” Ms Berry said.
“And, of course, all of the terrific volunteers and stewards who give up their time freely.
“Without those people the show isn’t possible,” she said.
