KOOWEERUP Regional Health Service will benefit from $204,000 extra in the next budget.
This comes as the State Government increases their health budget by six per cent for 2015-’16.
The additional funding will support health services to meet the demands of a growing and ageing population, expand and improve services and care, and reduce waiting times.
Kooweerup Regional Health Service’s CEO Terrona Ramsay said it was a pleasant announcement.
“Any increase in funding is very welcome,” she said.
Kooweerup Regional Health Service provides ‘round-the-clock medical services’ on site and district nurses throughout the community.
