Turkish delight for Rotary’s Randle

District Governor Merv Williams, new club member Jenny Randle and her fiancé Steve Marshall, and Rotary Club of Berwick president Geoff Double.

JENNY Randle is the Rotary Club of Berwick’s newest member.
Visiting District Governor Merv Williams inducted her at the club’s last meeting.
Jenny travelled to Turkey earlier this year through Rotary’s Group Study Exchange (GSE) program, thanks to sponsorship from the Berwick group.
She lived with several host families and visited 15 Turkish Rotary Clubs during her trip, speaking at each about Australia.
Jenny said the trip opened her eyes to the country’s working life and culture and improved her ability to communicate, particularly with people who didn’t speak English or who used it as a second language.
Rotary is an international organisation that provides humanitarian services and builds good will.
