In celebration of Children’s Book Week, Emerald Library hosted Children’s Book Council Australia judge Amanda Cooper and her Gallery for A Day.
During the exhibition, held on 22 August, Ms Cooper spoke to Emerald Primary School students on how she judged the prize winners, including shortlisting and deciding on the winner in the category, Picture Book for Early Childhood.
She also brought along original picture book art to delight the children and explain the publishing process.
