Pakenham baby show

Baby Showtime is hosting a novelty baby show at the Pakenham Marketplace. Categories are for children up to six and aged between six and 12. Entry is $11 per child and includes entry into the King/Queen division.

Trivia night fund-raiser

Sarah Irving is hosting a fund-raising trivia night to raise money for the Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation as an entrant in the Pinup Doll Australia competition. It is an adult-only event and the cost is $15 per person or $100 for a table of eight. BYO nibbles and drinks. Prizes to be won include beauty vouchers, gift cards, beauty products, chocolates, tools, free wine/cheese tastings and more.

Playground opening

Kids can enjoy free face painting, prizes, give-aways and entertainment to celebrate the opening of the new playground near Target. There’ll also be a morning tea garden party at the playground for children aged three to 12 years. Greta the Garden Gnome will host activities at two 60-minute sittings at 9am and 11am. The playground will not be open to the public until 11.30am.

Pakenham Parkrun third birthday

Help the Pakenham Parkrun celebrate its third birthday this weekend.
For a bit of fun, participants are asked to wear their “silly socks”.
Along with the usual run, there will also be a coffee van, cafe and a sausage sizzle.
