Commuters are in for a slow slog to work this morning, with delays on the Monash Freeway.
The freeway’s right lane remains closed outbound near Waverley Road after an earlier collision.
Two lanes were closed for a short time and VicRoads Incident Response and Emergency Services remain on-site.
Traffic is heavy back to the Burnley Tunnel.
VicRoads asks that people travelling through the area allow extra time for their journey.
If possible, avoid the area and seek an alternative route.
The Princes Hwy is one alternative.
