Police are investigating a suspicious fire at The Pakenham Hotel last night.
Emergency services were called to the Main Street premises after a man who was delivering goods to a nearby cafe saw smoke billowing from the roof about 1.40am.
No injuries were reported.
Police are yet to determine the blaze’s exact cause, but are treating it as suspicious.
An arson chemist is expected to attend the scene later in the morning.
The investigation is ongoing.
