Sex assault charges

Two men from Pakenham and Nar Nar Goon have been arrested in relation to a sexual assault in Nar Nar Goon.
Police from Dandenong Sexual Offence and Child Abuse investigation Team and Dandenong Divisional Response Unit arrested the pair following the sexual assault allegations last month.
It’s alleged a 49-year-old woman was sexually assaulted at a rural property in Nar Nar Goon on Saturday 29 October.
A 36-year-old Nar Nar Goon man handed himself in to police at Dandenong Police Station on Wednesday 15 November.
He was remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court the following day charged with rape, intentionally causing serious injury and false imprisonment.
Investigators also arrested a 32-year-old Pakenham man at his home on Thursday 16 November.
He has been released pending further inquiries.
