The wet weather wasn’t enough to deter Kooweerup Primary School from having a ball at its recent foundation celebration night.
On 7 December, staff members and the school’s 2017 and 2018 Foundation Prep students and their families came together for a fun-filled orientation session.
Whilst the weather didn’t quite hold off and everyone ended up a little wet, a school spokesperson said it was an “awesome night filled with fun”.
“The night began with a video presentation from the 2017 Foundation students with some sound advice for the future students about what to expect at school next year,” the spokesperson said.
“The children and their families then enjoyed a sausage in bread, a drink, a jump on the jumping castle, some craft activities with the CWA and face painting.”
“The highlight for lots of the children, however, was definitely having the chance to climb aboard a fire truck and spray the hoses.”
Kooweerup’s junior cricket sides also trained at the school showcasing their amazing skills.
The school spokesperson said a great time was had by all.
