VicRoads Incident Response Service and emergency services are on site.
VicRoads advises traffic is heavy on the approach and asks that motorists allow extra travel time.
Alternative routes, such as the Princes Highway, are recommended.
VicRoads reminds motorists they must not exceed 40km/h when passing emergency vehicles attending an emergency.
