Fire threatens property

A grassfire at risk of destroying property has been extinguished by fire crews.
Firefighters battled windy conditions as they worked to extinguish the grassfire in Tonimbuk, which broke out on 14 February about 1.35pm in the vicinity of the intersection of Leask and Tonimbuk roads.
A CFA spokesperson said nine fire trucks were called to the blaze, which was declared under control at 2pm.
By 2.15pm crews were returning to their stations.
