A 21 year-old Pakenham man charged over an alleged hit and run at Officer will remain behind bars until June.
Zhane Saiah Su’a briefly appeared in Melbourne Magistrate’s Court on 20 February in relation to the 16 February incident, which occurred just after 3.30pm.
Su’a faces 41 charges including putting pedestrians at risk of death or serious injury, recklessly causing serious injury, failing to render assistance after an accident, driving without a license, dangerous driving and driving at a dangerous speed.
Eight pedestrians, including seven children, suffered minor injuries, with a woman in her thirties hospitalised.
Su’a was arrested at a house at Pakenham on Monday by local police after an extensive man hunt.
He was remanded in custody for a committal case conference on 12 June.
