Longwarry crash victims hospitalised

Police reported the driver of the white Mercedes sedan, an 18-year-old Longwarry man, has been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
His passenger, a 15-year-old girl from Garfield, has been airlifted to The Alfred hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Cardinia Highway Patrol officers are investigating and are keen to speak to anyone that may have seen the Mercedes prior to the crash.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are also on scene assisting with the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A person has been transported to The Alfred hospital following a single-car collision in Longwarry this morning.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Evans and Knights roads about 8.40am after a car reportedly veered off the road and collided with a tree.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said paramedics assessed two people at the scene.
One, whose details have not been released, was taken via ambulance to The Alfred hospital.
A second person was also expected to be taken to hospital.
