Firefighters were called to the grounds of Kooweerup Secondary College twice in the spate of a day.
CFA crews were called two the back oval of the Rossiter Road school shortly after 2.45pm on 6 March to extinguish a blaze, believed to have started in a tree.
Just hours later at 6.30pm they responded to another report of a grass and scrub fire at the same location.
It too was brought swiftly under control just five minutes later.
The CFA has not commented on whether the incidents are related.
Kooweerup Secondary College assistant principal Leonie McGinley confirmed crews attended to a small fire.
She said at no time was there any threat to people and as a result, there was no need for the school to evacuate.
“There was no impact to anyone. It was a long, long way away from our buildings and anyone,” Ms McGinley said.
“We thank the CFA for their quick response.”
