Cardinia Highway Patrol detected a 25 year old P-plater from Dalyston allegedly speeding just nine hours into Victoria Police’s Labour Day long-weekend Operation Arid.
Intercepted on Princes Freeway, Pakenham on 9 March, the driver was detected travelling 136km/h in a 100 zone.
He was also found to be driving an unregistered motor vehicle and driving in breach of a defect notice.
The driver received a total of $1546 in infringement notices, five demerit points and a licence suspension of one month for the three offences.
