Richmond Football Club’s Steve Morris visited Officer’s Bridgewood Primary School to host an Idea Harvest on Tuesday 22 May.

The Idea Harvest is an initiative of the Cardinia Food Movement in which the Cardinia community are being asked to share a meal and discuss their ideas and challenges when it comes to food.

Steve and the students enjoyed discussing the types of foods students enjoy, what foods are good for them and what they know about food grown locally in the area.

Students also learnt about the types of food Steve and his teammates need to eat to help them play AFL at the elite level.

All Cardinia residents are being encouraged to participate in an Idea Harvest.

To learn how you can join in and help inform Cardinia’s food future, visit www.cardiniafoodmovement.org/kitchentalktalks or look out for #ideaharvest recipe and questionnaire packs which have been distributed throughout the Shire.

All feedback will be used to help inform the Cardinia Community Food Strategy which will be released later in the year.
