Three teens have now been charged following the alleged violent bashing of a Bentleigh East man in Cheltenham on Tuesday 7 August.
An Officer man, 19, Pakenham boy, 14 and two 17-year-old’s from Cranbourne, allegedly beat the victim with a stick as he withdrew cash from a Chesterville Road ATM, stealing his cash and a credit card before driving away with his Black Land Rover.
Police arrested three males about 10pm last night in Pakenham after they were allegedly found in the stolen vehicle.
A fourth teenager was arrested shortly after while boarding a bus at Pakenham Railway Station.
The 19-year-old Officer man has been charged with theft of a motor vehicle, handling stolen goods and unlicensed driving.
He has been bailed to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 8 October.
The 17-year-old Cranbourne boy and 14-year-old Pakenham boy were both charged with two counts of theft of motor vehicle, aggravated carjacking, armed robbery and assault.
They will appear at a children’s court at a later date.
The 17-year-old Dandenong North boy has been released pending summons.
