Casey Cardinia Women’s Business Lunch

A fabulous networking lunch hosted by Marianne Van Dorsler, featuring guest speaker Melanie Gleeson, Founder of Endota Spa. Farmer fundraiser

Kooweerup Woolies are putting on a Country Fair this weekend as part of their Drought Relief Fundraiser. There will be food tastings, face painting (Sunday 11am – 1pm), popcorn and fairy floss, cupcake decorating and more! There will also be a a raffle for a grocery hamper. Tickets can be purchased Thursday to Sunday at the registers. You can also donate at buyabale.com.au.

Berwick Stamp Club

The next meeting of Berwick Stamp Club will take place in The Old Shop at the Old Cheese Factory in Homestead Road, Berwick at 2pm on Sunday 12 August. Anyone who has an interest in stamps or any other aspect of philately is welcome to attend. The meetings are held in a relaxed and friendly manner and visitors are made to feel welcome. The exchange sheets circulated at each meeting enable those interested to purchase items needed to fill out a collection gap and the monthly auction gives the members a chance to dispose of unwanted material. Boomerang bags

The first session of producing Boomerang Bags in Garfield is happening 10.30am – 12.30pm on Monday 13 August at the Garfield Uniting Church Hall. If you would like to be part of this exciting new project to help reduce plastic use make sure to drop in. If you have sewing machine or over-locker please bring it along. The group are also in need of an ironing press. You don’t need to be able to sew to join in.
