UNDER 15s – PREMIER

Beaconsfield Blue emerged victorious in an incredible battle with Narre North Foxes Black to advance through to the Under 15 Division 1 grand final on Sunday, 5.9 (39) to 4.6 (30).

At Narre North Reserve East, the Eagles managed to lead at every change, with Sam Cachia the star with four majors in a brilliant performance.

The Foxes battled hard and never gave in, and kicked the only goal of the final quarter. Alex Faidutti booted two for them.

The Eagles will now play Berwick White this Sunday in the grand final.

In Under 15 Division 2, Narre North Foxes Grey defeated Lyndhurst to earn a grand final spot, 13.10 (88) to 7.8 (50).

The Foxes got off to a six goal start to lead by 26 at quarter time, and the likes of Jake Goodes (four goals), Deekon Taylor (three), Tyler Campbell (two) and Kyle Wing (two) doing a great job in front of goals to make sure the Lightning couldn’t mount a comeback.

For the Lightning, Nyot Bidong, Tristan Walton, Mitchell Kemish and Caleb Parkin were all terrific.

The Foxes now play Beaconsfield White in the grand final on Sunday.

In Premier 1, Berwick Navy got over the line against Berwick White in a thrilling prelim, 5.10 (40) to 4.3 (27).

The Navy narrowly trailed at half time by two points, but kicked three goals to one after half time to seal the win.

Kyle Gains, Sam Curtain and Tyson Green all slotted goals for the Navy side.

Beaconsfield Blue will be their opponents in the grand final on Sunday at Casey Fields.

Beaconsfield Gold, meanwhile, just held off Officer White in a Premier 2 thriller, 8.8 (56) to 7.9 (51).

Storming home from 25 points down at three quarter time, the Eagles kicked four unanswered final term goals while keeping the Kangaroos scoreless to seal a remarkable victory.

The Eagles didn’t score a goal until the second term, and looked like they were going to lose, but dug deep in a brave display.

Trent Robinson, Josh Pettenuzzo and Matthew Lawless all did brilliantly for the Eagles.

As a result of the incredible win, the Eagles meet Endeavour Hills in the grand final on Sunday at Pakenham.

And in Premier 3, Narre South Lions proved too strong for Tooradin-Dalmore, 10.6 (66) to 5.4 (34).

Off the back of a brilliant four goal last quarter, the Lions stormed home to book a grand final berth.

Ryan Ladd and Jett Kearney each booted three goals for the Lions, while Jack Jenkins did well for the Seagulls to kick two.

The Lions meet Berwick Springs Green in the grand final at Pakenham on Sunday.

In the Youth Girls, Berwick defeated Berwick White in a one sided prelim at Clyde, 10.4 (64) to 1.4 (10).

Off the back of a sublime four goal haul to Lauree Metcalfe, the Berwick team were dominant to secure a grand final berth.

The side they will be coming up against is Beaconsfield Blue, who defeated Cranbourne in 9.10 (64) to 2.4 (16) clash.

UNDER 13s – 14s

In the Under 13 Red preliminary final, Beaconsfield Gold booked themselves a grand final by knocking off Berwick Springs Blue, 3.8 (26) to 3.1 (19).

Trailing at three quarter time, the Eagles stormed home to kick the two goals in the last quarter to win. Kobe Shipp was the match winner with two of the goals.

They will now come up against Narre South Lions Navy in the grand final on Sunday.

At Marriott Waters, Cranbourne Blue defeated Noble Park in a close one, 6.8 (44) to 5.8 (38).

Noble had an eight point lead at three quarter time, but were held scoreless in the final quarter.

For the Eagles on a terrific day that now sees them play Berwick Blue in the grand final, Bradley Frater (three goals) and Jack Grimsey (two) hit the scoreboard.

And in the Under 13 White prelim at Narre North, Berwick Springs Green advanced through with a win over Hampton Park, 7.7 (49) to 3.6 (24).

The Springs set the win up with a dominant second quarter, with Harrison Waters, Ben Raines, Jordan Brady and Rhys Moran leading the way.

For the Redbacks, Tyison Galway slotted two of the three goals.

Berwick Springs Green now plays Officer Blue in the grand final.

Now onto Under 14 Red, and Beaconsfield Blue were brilliant in their win over Berwick Springs, 9.8 (62) to 2.7 (19).

With Spencer Robertson starring with four goals, the Eagles kicked four unanswered goals in the first term and didn’t look back.

In the other prelim, Cranbourne Blue did enough against Narre North Foxes Black, 6.14 (50) to 5.12 (42).

The Foxes lead all day and by 21 at three quarter time, but were overrun by an inspired Eagles team, who kicked five last quarter goals to steal victory.

Hayden Lamb kicked three and Ky Williams, Jamie Brown, Josh Downe and Tyson Barry were all impressive for the Eagles.

In Under 14 Blue, Endeavour Hills kicked plenty of points but still defeated Beaconsfield Gold, 5.18 (48) to 5.4 (34).

The Eagles were inaccurate and kicked 0.6 in the first quarter, but had a lot of class to come away with the win, with Cooper Robertson particularly impressive with two goals.

Liam Floyd slotted three for the Eagles in a great effort.

They will meet Parkmore, who defeated Kooweerup, 10.8 (68) to 5.5 (35) in comfortable fashion.

And in the Under 14 Girls, Pakenham Maroon held off Beaconsfield Blue to earn a grand final spot, 4.5 (29) to 3.1 (19).

The Lions led at every change and booted one goal in the final term as the Eagles challenged them.

Mia Chesterfield, Evie Drake, Jaylee Virgona and Abbey McKenzie were all terrific for the Lions, who now play Narre North Foxes Black in the grand final.

UNDER 11s – 12s

In the battle of Beaconsfield, it was Beaconsfield Blue who won their way through to the Under 11 Red grand final after a stirring comeback against Beaconsfield Gold.

Beaconsfield Gold, led by Patrick Ingram and Harry Fox, jumped out to a 13-point lead early, but Beaconsfield Blue kicked the final six goals of the game to earn a 6.6 (42) to 2.3 (15) win.

Beaconsfield Blue will take on Berwick Blue in the grand final.

Beaconsfield White will head into the Under 11 Blue grand final with plenty of confidence after a commanding win over Lyndhurst, 4.6 (30) to 0.0 (0).

Tyler Hendrych and Charlie Stone kicked majors for Beaconsfield, while young gun Kaelen Henry starred with two goals in the second quarter.

The premiers will be decided when Officer White and Beaconsfield White meet on Sunday.

In the Under 11 White preliminary final, Noble Park kicked three goals in the opening term, and despite Cranbourne Gold’s valiant efforts, the Eagles were unable to fight their way back.

Alex Chandler booted two majors to help Noble Park to a 3.8 (26) to 1.3 (9) win, while Jackson Vassallo also kicked a goal. For Cranbourne, Parker Westmoreland kicked a classy goal.

Narre Warren and Noble Park will meet for glory in the grand final.

Berwick Blue and Cranbourne Blue played out a thriller at Marriott Waters Oval in the Under 12 Red preliminary final.

In what was a back and forth battle all day, the Eagles led by two points at the final break, but the Wickers managed the lone goal of the final term to claim an intense win, 2.3 (15) to 1.4 (10).

Erik Peterson and Raiden Bergman (one goal each) were the match-winners for Berwick, while Baidyn Hunter kicked a goal for Cranbourne.

The win will see Berwick Blue face off with Narre North Foxes Black in the grand final.

It was another nail-biter in the Under 12 Blue preliminary final as Noble Park and Berwick Blue couldn’t be split all day.

Noble Park led by one-point at three quarter time and both teams had their chances in the final quarter, but Noble Park did enough to hang on for a hard-fought two-point win, 3.6 (24) to 2.10 (22).

Okusitino-Felise Antonio (two goals) was the difference for Noble Park, while Samir Pekmezovic also kicked a vital goal. Adam Snelling and Lucas Stephens kicked Berwick’s two goals.

Cora Lynn won their way through to the Under 12 White grand final with a fine performance against Nar Nar Goon.

The Goon had their chances, but Cora Lynn – led by Liam Bellio and Harrison Hawkett (one goal each) – were cleaner in front of goal and that was ultimately the difference. The Cobras came away with a 2.5 (17) to 0.7 (7) win.

Cora Lynn will face Kooweerup in what promises to be a thrilling grand final.
