Leadership Outlook series

The Institute of Managers and Leaders is excited to present the 2018 Leadership Outlook series on the topic of creating mentally healthy workplace, in conjunction with beyondblue. The institute will be joined by members of the beyondblue workplace engagement team as they present a practical and thought-provoking workshop, followed by a panel discussion of local managers and leaders who will share their experiences.

Canvas and Cocktails

Retirees are invited to a refined afternoon of creativity and cocktails, when Meadowvale Retirement Village in Pakenham welcomes guests to this free event on Wednesday 12 September. The event is part of Lendlease’s annual Spring Retirement Festival, which will see 23 free events hosted across Victoria – from musical theatre performances, to wine tasting, silent discos and laid-back jazz concerts. Guests can expect to be greeted with a tasty cocktail, then guided through an afternoon of painting and drawing by a professional artist.

School holiday fun

Armada Dandenong Plaza offers free school holiday activities. In week one, help find Dandenong’s favourite AFL team by completing and colouring in an art masterpiece of your favourtie team. Free $5 lunch vouchers for kids.

Week two features rock painting. Kids can then hide their rock in the neighbourhood and track it on a Vic Rocks page on Facebook to see if it has been found.

Plus a lucky dip will run throughout the holidays.

Australia’s Girls of Motown

Two local retirement villages will be hosting afternoons of free live music as part of the Lendlease Spring Retirement Festival; Fiddlers Green in Berwick will welcome The Stiff Gins to their stage – acclaimed for the exquisite voices and raw talent, while Woodlands Park will host Australia’s Girls of Motown.
