Saturday 15 September Casey BMX Club will hold the Victorian Interschool Cycling Competition, open to all school-aged children. It starts off at 9 am and will run through to around 2:30. Daniel Walker BMX Ninja will be coming to hand out the medals and presentations.

Pakenham parkrun is turning 4

Pakenham Parkrun is turning 4 and seeing as the footy finals will be close, will celebrate with a Footy Theme Event. This can be anything AFL, NRL or Soccer. There will a coffee van, sausage sizzle and cake!

2018/19 Summer Come and Try Days

Come along to find out more about playing Baseball or T-ball this summer at Pakenham Pumas Baseball Club. Meet the coaches and players, have a go and grab a snag or two at the end. Juniors and T-ball kicks off at 10am covering ages 4 to 15, with seniors to follow from 11:30. They will have information about the upcoming season and registering so is open to all new and returning players.

Leprosy in India – Still a Problem?

You’re invited to afternoon tea to hear Joe and Maria Bast, Leprosy Mission Australia Ambassadors, share about their recent trip to India. Recently Joe and Maria visited India to see one of the projects they support. They had a great time. Maria and Joe are passionate about seeing people who have leprosy receive help even if they can’t make it to a treatment centre. Come and find out how they want to do that. As one of the attendees at a recent presentation by them said. “Thank you for the wonderful presentation…[you] made it real and the problem it is [real].” Goods from The Leprosy Mission will be for available for purchase.

RockScars

Rockscars are back at the Pakenham hotel by popular demand playing 80’s and mixed covers from songs that other cover bands don’t play anymore. It’s a great venue to see live bands with a great atmosphere. If you haven’t been there make it a first as the staff are very welcoming and the food is of top standard if you’re having a meal beforehand. Free admission as well…look forward in seeing you there.
