Police are appealing for information after a woman scared off a potential burglar while home alone at her Henry Street property on Saturday 20 October.
The brave resident told police that she noticed a man on her CCTV camera loitering suspiciously out the front of her house around 11.25pm.
The man then entered the property via the side fence and attempted to break in through the window.
Aware of the activity, the woman turned on the lights and banged on the window, which scared the would-be burglar away from the window into a waiting car. Nothing was stolen.
The vehicle has been described by police as a dark Ford Falcon sedan.
