Police have thwarted a crime spree allegedly orchestrated by a gang of African youths across Melbourne’s south-east with a series of dramatic arrests in Officer this afternoon.
Five teenagers, aged 17 to 18, were taken into custody at about 4.20pm after robberies in Hampton Park and Dandenong, and a burglary in Officer.
According to police, all of the perpetrators have now been accounted for.
