Sexual Crime Squad detectives are investigating a report of a sexual assault in Pakenham in the early hours of Friday 7 December.
Investigators believe the incident took place at a park on the corner of Azalea and Sandalwood Drive’s about 3.30am.
“As the investigation is active and ongoing it would not be appropriate to provide any further details at this stage,” a Victoria Police spokesperson said.
