Pakenham p-plater loses licence

Baw Baw Highway Patrol members intercepted an alleged drink driver in Warragul on 19 Saturday January.

Police detected the white Holden utility travelling west on the Princes Highway at an alleged 183km/h in a 110km/h zone at about 10.20pm.

The male probationary driver allegedly returned an evidentiary breath test of .101.

His vehicle was impounded for 30 days at a cost of $1005.00

The 27-year-old Pakenham man had his licence immediately suspended and is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving and other traffic related offences.
