Revheads have turned out in droves for Lang Lang’s Show’n’Shine on Sunday, 10 February, showcasing a series of vintage cars, rare bikes and even aeroplane engines.

More than 600 cars were exhibited at the Lang Lang Showgrounds, with everything from a 1920 model motorbike to the latest vehicles hot off the showroom floors.

Keith White, who helped organise the event, said it was the biggest ever Show’n’Shine.

“It was easily the biggest yet,” he said.

“It shows how many beauties are tucked away in sheds from Pakenham, Cranbourne and right through to Lang Lang.

“We had more than 100 vehicles judged and we saw so many varieties.”

One of the draw-cards of the meet was a Holden Crewman utility with a jet engine attached to the tray.

“We had to make sure nobody was behind it with marshmellows,” Mr White added.

Dozens of awards were given to the most spectacular cars across a range of categories.

It has all but secured the future of the event, which continues to grow in yearly meets.
