Two lanes are closed on the Monash Freeway citybound after Warrigul Road following a diesel spill from a truck’s ruptured fuel tank.
Emergency services and VicRoads Incident Response crews are attending, with a large clean-up underway.
Two lanes remain open with speed set at 40km/h. Traffic is queued back to Forster Road. Drivers should consider using the Princes Highway and Dandenong Road instead.
The lanes will be re-opened when it’s safe to do so.
