Burglars invaded a Pakenham home and made off with a 2017 Mazda 3 on Friday 31 May.
During the early hours of the morning, intruders broke into the Yarra Close home while the two house occupants were asleep.
A number of personal items were stolen along with the car.
Police recovered the car the following day in Mount Eliza.
