An offender followed a man on a Pakenham train before demanding money from him on Sunday 26 May.
The victim was on the train at Bourke Park near Railway Avenue in Pakenham when he was approached by a man who demanded for cash at about 4pm.
He denied the demand and the offender continued to follow him on the train before forcing the man to hand his cash over at the Cardinia Road train station in Pakenham.
Police are still investigating.
