Bailed man burgles Beaconsfield property

By Mitchell Clarke

Police arrested a 38-year-old man in relation to an aggravated burglary in Beaconsfield on Friday 14 June.

The man had been in court earlier that day, with the magistrate granting him bail.

It’s alleged the Cranbourne man broke into a property about 12.30pm that same day.

He stole alcohol and a small amount of money before being confronted by the occupant of the property.

The man fled out the front door with police arresting him a short time later at a nearby location.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court at a later date.
