Bunyip Primary School’s major fundraising and social event is fast approaching and the Parents and Friends committee is on the lookout for businesses to get involved in the fun.

Any donation for the annual trivia night will make a big difference to the success of the night.

“Our community has been hit by the Bunyip fires so we are seeking more outside donations than ever before,” Bunyip Primary School Parents and Friends committee member Kylie Lewis said.

“We want outside donations so that our local businesses do not feel they need to contribute as they have already been part of so many fundraisers to help people in the area.

“Any type of donation is welcome and appreciated. Even the smallest of donations can contribute to a bigger gift or prize.”

The night, to be held on Saturday 19 October, will be full of trivia, auctions, raffles and games.

“For these activities to be successful we need lots of prizes and items to raise money for our wonderful school,” committee member Jessica Sheppard said.

“Ideas for the raffle or auction items are unlimited but may include products, services, vouchers, or cash.”

Each year, over 100 people attend the night and this year, the school hopes to raise enough money to install shade over the playground.

Business sponsorship packages are also available where businesses can get involved in the night through sponsorship which in return allows them to exclusively market their business directly to the community.
