A 19-year-old Pakenham man was arrested in Dandenong on Thursday 3 October for allegedly assaulting and robbing a man.Police from Greater Dandenong Crime Investigation Unit charged the man after reports of him threatening a 19-year-old man and attempting to force him to withdraw money from an ATM on Stud Road.
He then assaulted the victim and stole personal items including his mobile phone.
The victim was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Greater Dandenong CIU members later executed a related search warrant at Coleman Court in Dandenong North.
The Pakenham man was charged with armed robbery and assault and will face Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Friday 4 October.
