Residents are being encouraged to attend one of several pop up bushfire recovery centres being set up by Cardinia Shire Council.

Pop-up recovery centres will be at Tonimbuk Hall on Saturday 26 October, Garfield Main Street on Saturday 2 November, Biddy Martha’s Bunyip on Saturday 9 November, Maryknoll General Store on Saturday 16 November and Gembrook CFA Station on Saturday 23 November.

All pop ups will be open from 9.00am until 1.00pm.

Visitors will be able to chat with Council’s recovery officers and Windermere case managers, and the CFA and Council’s emergency management team will also be on hand with information to help them prepare for the upcoming fire season.
