Kooweerup Scout Group celebrated its 90th anniversary with a huge gathering on Saturday 30 November.
Over the past 90 years the group has been a mainstay of the Kooweerup community.
More than 100 people attended to reminisce through old photos and records that were on display.
Outside were activities for youth members of the group as well as the wider community, including billy carts, catapults, pet rock painting and display sailing boats.
“We kicked off the celebration on a bit more of a sombre note celebrating the life of a past leader Chris Burhop,” group leader Shane Worthington said.
“Our rich history was read out by Aaron Smith to an audience of new Joey scouts to members of the group from 1948.
“It was also exciting to announce that our plans for an extension are going ahead with funding approved.”
