Local charity John Mc Foundation has once again successfully raised a ton of money for people in need.

Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons vs The Beach Boys tribute show, held at St Michaels Stadium in Berwick, saw 240 people attend and donate more than a whopping $12,000.

The fundraising efforts were distributed between eight local soup kitchens and vans, including Transit Soup Kitchen and Food Support, the Bless Collective Food Van Project, St Vincent De Paul Society Soup Van, Paddy’s Kitchen, P3C Community Cook Up, Theodora’s Cheerful Givers, Bk2 Basics Melbourne, and the Kimbie Assist Project.

“The highlights of the night were the Frankie Valli and Beach Boys show, the friendships that were made, the smile, plenty of dancing and great food,” charity coordinator John Mc Greal said.

“We saw different groups connecting up with each other and helping each other in the community.”

Guest speaker Casey Council Cr Susan Serey spoke on her personal experience helping the St Vincent’s van in Beaconsfield and supporting the work of the John Mc Foundation.
